Nikki is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervisory designation in both the states of Kentucky and Ohio. Nikki earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH in 2007 and has been practicing since. Nikki is passionate about helping people reach their maximum potential while providing a safe and healing environment to elicit positive change. Nikki has broad experience working with children and adolescents as well as adults. Nikki’s primary focus is child and adolescent therapy, family therapy and couples counseling.
Most recently, Nikki spent several years working as an inpatient clinical therapist in a psychiatric hospital here in Louisville, KY working with the most acute and at-risk youths in the state. Nikki has extensive experience with children and adolescents who have been through severe trauma and loss. Additionally, Nikki has worked extensively with adolescents involved in the Juvenile Justice System.

Nikki practices from a cognitive-behavioral approach and incorporates an eclectic approach to best meet her clients’ needs. Nikki has also has extensive training in Functional Family Therapy which an evidenced-based therapy model and applies certain aspects of this training to assist clients with therapeutic interventions and techniques to reach positive results.
Nikki is currently accepting new clients and also, accepting LPCA’s needing supervision for licensure.
