Kimberly Palmore  LPCA, [she/her]

Kimberly Palmore
Kimberly is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPCA) in the state of Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisville.

With over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions, Kimberly is passionate about helping clients find clarity, confidence, and creative solutions as they work toward meaningful change. She intentionally creates a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, heard, respected, and empowered to show up as their authentic selves.

Kimberly takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Strengths-Based modalities. This flexible style allows her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs while helping them reshape thought patterns, relationships, and life direction.

She is deeply committed to collaborating with clients as they build self-trust, resilience, and confidence to become the best versions of themselves.

Kimberly specializes in (but is not limited to) working with:

  • ADHD and Neurodivergence
  • Life Transitions
  • Career Counseling
  • Women’s Issues
  • Pregnancy, Fertility, and Pregnancy Loss
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Interpersonal Relationships
  • Self-Esteem and Self-Compassion
  • Trauma-Informed Care

Her professional background includes work as a career counselor, university academic counselor, psychology instructor, and neurodivergence coach. These roles have allowed her to work with diverse populations and approach therapy with both clinical expertise and a real-world perspective.

Kimberly has a particular passion for supporting individuals with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence. She helps clients develop practical coping skills, build confidence, advocate for their needs, and embrace the strengths of their unique brains while navigating a world that isn’t always designed with them in mind.
