Megan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University, and went on to obtain a Master of Education in Counseling with a concentration in Art Therapy from the University of Louisville.
Megan uses a client-centered and strength-based approach, while drawing upon her knowledge of art therapy and other evidence based practices to best meet the needs of her clients. She values the therapeutic relationship, and believes it to be the first and most important step in the process of healing.
Megan is experienced in working with children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of treatment issues including but not limited to:

- Child and adolescent emotional and behavioral difficulties
- School related issues

- ADHD
- PTSD
Megan is certified in multiple evidence-based practices including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
Megan is passionate about Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and the way this treatment supports families through strengthening relational bonds. She is also a certified Child Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE) trainer, which utilizes elements of PCIT for older children.
